Geofenced Arrivals

Drivers confirm arrival with live GPS — the app verifies they’re actually at the pickup before the clock starts.

The "I’ve arrived" button only works when the driver is actually there. PRIME checks the driver’s live GPS position against the pickup coordinates and unlocks the arrival confirmation inside the geofence — protecting riders from premature arrival claims and drivers from "you were never here" disputes.

How it works

1

Driver approaches the pickup

The app tracks the driver’s live position as they near the pickup coordinates attached to the booking.

2

Arrival button unlocks inside the geofence

When the driver is within the pickup radius, "Confirm Arrival" activates. Outside the radius, it stays disabled with a hint showing remaining distance.

3

Arrival is stamped with proof

The confirmation records the timestamp and the driver’s GPS coordinates at the moment of the tap — that’s the verifiable arrival record.

4

Rider gets notified, wait clock arms

The rider is notified their driver has arrived, and the paid-wait-time clock starts its grace countdown from the verified timestamp.

What your fleet gets

  • No more "I was there" arguments — arrival is GPS-verified
  • Wait time starts from a provable timestamp, not a claim
  • Riders get accurate arrival notifications
  • Stops premature arrival taps that erode rider trust
  • Arrival coordinates are stored with the trip record

Fair to both sides

Geofencing protects the rider from being charged wait time for a driver who never showed, and it protects the driver from a rider claiming they were late. Both sides are looking at the same GPS record.

Works with real-world pickups

Pickup geofences are sized for real locations — apartment complexes, airport lots, venue entrances — so drivers aren’t locked out by a pin dropped on the wrong side of a building.
