How the PRIME mobile apps collect, use, and share your information.
Last updated: October 24, 2026
This Mobile App Privacy Policy applies to the PRIME mobile applications operated by Prime Transit ("PRIME," "we," "us," or "our"):
It supplements our Privacy Policy, which governs all PRIME services including the website and APIs. If this policy conflicts with the Privacy Policy on a mobile-specific matter, this policy controls.
Name, email address, phone number (stored in E.164 format), role (driver, fleet operator, or customer), company/fleet affiliation, vehicle details for drivers, and authentication credentials. If you sign in with a third-party provider, we receive the basic profile information that provider shares.
With your permission, the apps collect precise device location (GPS) while the app is in use:
Location collection follows the permission you grant in your device settings ("while using the app"). You can revoke location permission at any time in Settings, though core features (dispatch, tracking, ETA) will not function without it.
Device model, operating system version, app version, push-notification tokens (Expo/Apple Push Notification service/Google FCM), crash diagnostics, and usage events used to operate, secure, and improve the apps.
With your permission, the camera is used to capture proof-of-delivery photos, document photos (licenses, insurance, registration), and profile images. Images you capture or select are uploaded to your account's secure storage.
With your permission, the microphone and on-device/OS speech recognition are used for the in-app voice assistant and hands-free commands. Voice input is processed to generate a text command; it is not used for advertising.
Face ID / biometric unlock is handled entirely by your device's operating system — we never receive or store biometric data. Motion and fitness data (Prime Driver) may be used to detect driving activity for shift/safety features.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use app data for third-party advertising.
When a driver is on an active shift or assigned delivery, their real-time location is visible to: (a) the fleet operator they drive for, for dispatch and safety; and (b) the customer whose delivery is in progress, for tracking and ETA. Location sharing is tied to active work — it is not a continuous public broadcast.
We share app data only as needed to provide the service:
We retain app data while your account is active and as needed for legal, safety, and record-keeping purposes (for example, delivery and payout records). You may request deletion of your account and personal data at any time through our account deletion page or by emailing privacy@primetransit.com. Deleting the app from your device does not delete your account — use the deletion request to remove your data.
Depending on your state (including California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to opt out of certain sharing. We do not sell or "share" (for cross-context behavioral advertising) personal information. Submit requests to privacy@primetransit.com. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
The PRIME apps are not directed to children under 13 (or under 18 for driver and fleet accounts), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We use encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, and secure cloud storage to protect app data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; report suspected security issues to security@primetransit.com.
We may update this policy; the current version is always posted at primetransit.com/privacy-app with its revision date. Material changes are announced in-app or by email before they take effect.
