Neither. PRIME is software-only — you remain the carrier of record and every load contract is between you and your customer. PRIME never arranges freight, holds payments, or takes a per-booking commission.
Does PRIME replace my ELD?
No. PRIME records trip status, mileage, and driver activity for operations and record-keeping — it is not an ELD and does not certify hours-of-service compliance. Keep your required ELD; use PRIME for dispatch, documents, and invoicing.
Can I track fuel purchases for IFTA?
Yes — drivers can log fuel per vehicle and you can export the records to CSV, which keeps you organized for quarterly IFTA filing. PRIME keeps the records; your accountant or filing service handles the actual report.
